Kibale National Park is the most magnificent of Uganda’s Tropical rain forest and one of the most rewarding areas to explore with super active primate viewing.

Kibale’s Major attraction are the chimpanzees, the most delightful Apes, closest to human than any other living creature.
These can be seen swinging in the tree branches as one treks through the forest trails.
At least 60 Mammal species are present in Kibale Forest and rich in primates with 13 species recorded with the highest total for any Ugandan national park.
Some of the primates here include Vervet, Red-tailed L’hoest’s and Blue monkey, Grey-cheeked manga bey, Red Colobus, Black & White Colobus, Olive Baboon and Chimpanzee but its not otehrwise an easy place to see big mammals which includes Leopards, Elephants, Bufallo, Sitatunga, Hippo, Red & Blue.
